What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma required, 1 year Medical Assistant experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire, CPOE certification within two weeks
Nice to Have
Graduate of Medical Assisting Program, Front Desk experience, 3+ years Medical Assistant work experience, 1+ year Hospital, ER, or Urgent Care experience, Obtain MA certification within 6 months
What You'll Do.
Assist in examination of patients

Manages the check-in and registration process, interview patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts. Draws and collects blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. **Job Requirements** **Education** · **High School Diploma** — _required_ · **Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program** — _preferred_ **Work Experience** · **1 year of Medical Assistant experience** — _required_ · **Front Desk experience** — _preferred_ · **Basic Life Support (BLS)** — _required at time of hire_ o Must be obtained through the**American Red Cross
