Ability to transport materials and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently, Ability to transport materials and equipment up to 100 pounds with assistance, Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces, Ability to climb ladders, Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills, Ability to work within the safe range of equipment, Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height, Ability to work in the sun and possibly low light conditions, Ability to walk on rafters, roof tiles, and roof shingles without damage, Ability to distinguish colors, Ability to work in confined spaces, Ability to hear verbal commands and warnings, Ability to work with chemicals using appropriate protections
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of previous field construction experience, 1 year of experience as a service technician in the solar industry, Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman license, Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent per local and state requirements, wireman license
Nice to Have
PV design experience, PV electrical experience
What You'll Do.
Perform advanced troubleshooting
Perform complex service diagnosis
Train and develop team members
Organize warranty and service schedule
Allocate labor resources
Assist with training and development
Lead regular meetings
Support onboarding and training
Assist with inspections
Assist with site audits
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work with the Electrical Foreman; Work with the Construction Supervisor; Work with the Branch Manager; Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians; Assist with training and development for Field Communications Technicians; Align and train the local field service team; Support the on-boarding and training of new members; Assist teammates; Build relationships
Communication Scope
Excellent verbal communication skills; Excellent written communication skills
