Assist residents in all areas of care

Receive report from previous shift
Read Care Staff Assignment
Read End of Shift report
Provide report to oncoming shift
Document on End of Shift Report
Document on CareStream
Complete incident reports
Answer resident call lights
Answer resident alarms promptly
Provide resident assistance with activities of daily living
Encourage residents’ self-care
Promote residents’ self-care
Assist residents with meals
Assist residents with housekeeping
Assist residents with laundry services
Maintain a clean environment
Maintain a neat environment
Maintain a comfortable environment
Maintain a safe environment
Provide high quality resident care
Recommend ways to improve quality
Observe changes in resident status
Communicate changes to Director
Communicate changes to LVN/LPN
Communicate changes to manager
Respond to emergencies
Follow policies for infection control
