Must Have

7 -12 years experience, Graduate/Post Graduate Engineer (Aerospace / Avionics / Electronics/ Electrical Engineering), Avionic or Cabin System Engineer, widely experienced on Aircraft Avionics or Cabin Electronics system engineering knowledge, proven experience on large aircraft avionics or cabin system, technically competent with Design principles, knowledgeable of Airworthiness domain, sound knowledge of Product Design, conversant with roles and responsibilities of Type Certificate holder, experience in approval procedures (EASA Part 21 / CS / JAR / FAR)

Nice to Have

preferably on Airbus products, experience gained from maintenance, support or design, experience of avionic or electrical system design engineer, Exposure to Avionic and cabin systems design documents, Knowledge on airworthiness Part21subpart D and on EASA CS25/JAR25/FAR25 avionics and electrical systems requirements, able to question and understand application of technical airworthiness requirements, knowledge on all concerned programs in term of airworthiness requirements but also design

****Job Description:**** _**Job Summary**_ We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certification Engineer to join our Certification Technical Directorate team at Airbus India. This role will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and regulatory compliance of avionics and cabin electronic systems on Airbus aircraft, contributing to the safety and reliability of our products. ** _Job scope (Tasks & accountabilities): _** The Jobholder exercises the Minor change approval legal privileges granted by EASA to Airbus in full compliance with Part 21 and Design organization Approval requirements, maintaining the Airbus privileges for design approval, ensuring on time approval for the permanent satisfaction of our customers (initial A/C deliveries and in service A/C design changes). The jobholder guarantees the Airworthiness of the design changes defined by Airbus, reporting airworthiness issue to a Chief Airworthiness Engineer. **_Main problems to be solved in the position:_** The requirements for the Designated Airworthiness Engineer (DAE) for the Change Approval process are: * Allocates the changes to him/herself in the Airbus tools (AirCAM) as Airworthiness mod leader * Reviews the change dossier from the Design Office, classifies the change with regard to part 21 criteria within Airbus tool (ACC2). * Appraises the design change, identifies the applicable requirements within Airbus tool (ICC) and verifies the compliance to applicable requirements provided by the Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE), if relevant. * Completes the Modification Approval Summary in order to approve the Change within ICC, as Designated Airworthiness Engineer (DAE) or communicate specific refusal to the CVE and Design responsible. * Record the Change approval in Airbus tool (ACC2). * Report issues in order to support the head of repair approval, for training or reporting or improvement on the repair approval. * The Engineer must master the Airworthiness and technical knowledge
