Acquired by Skillz Inc. in 2026, Beamable enables developers to add features like player authentication, commerce, social systems, and inventory — reducing development time by 3–5x. Beamable is the engine powering Skillz Inc.'s infrastructure and serves as the third component of the connected ecosystem, alongside RZR and the Skillz competition platform. Beyond Skillz, Beamable continues to be the platform of choice for the developers and studios that trusted it before the acquisition, making it a foundational layer not just for Skillz, but across the live-service gaming industry at large. About the Role The Chief Executive Officer will define and execute Beamable's strategic vision, establishing it as the category-defining platform for building and operating live-service games. The ideal candidate is a proven operator who understands the developer ecosystem and is experienced in scaling product led growth SaaS businesses. The mission is to make backend development frictionless for everyone. The CEO will be responsible for driving growth across developer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization, while pushing the platform into the next frontier of agentic AI, where games can intelligently automate operations, personalize player experiences, and make real-time decisions. This role will report into the CEO of Skillz, Inc. With a powerful backend infrastructure, a growing ecosystem of developer tools, and a unique position inside the Skillz Inc. connected ecosystem, Beamable is redefining what it means to launch and operate games at scale.
