Must Have
Experience in Sterile processing in a hospital setting, Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers, Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately, Basic computer skills
Nice to Have
Certification in Central Sterile processing, Encourage Central Sterile processing certification within one year of hire
What You'll Do.
Perform daily activities of cleaning
and processing instruments and equipment
Cross-trained to clean endoscopy scopes
Acts as backup to the surgical aide
Plans daily work assignments
Prioritizes sterilization loads
Prepares instruments trays for procedures
Maintains and updates current instruments sets
Quality Monitors sterilizing equipment
Maintains logbook with necessary information
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Cross-trained to clean endoscopy scopes; Acts as backup to the surgical aide; Participates in daily report; Communicates with the other members of the Surgical team; Participate as a member of the healthcare team
Communication Scope
Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers; Uses positive communication skills in daily activities
