**Overview:** **Job Description Summary:** Oversees sterile processing staff performing the processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments and supplies, ensuring efficient and safe patient care. **Job Description:** **Essential Functions:** * Provides supervision for sterile processing staff and oversees the daily activities and scheduling of the team. * Ensures adherence to safety standards and quality metrics for processing and providing sterilized instruments needed for patient care. Monitors compliance with sterilization policies and procedures and record keeping. * Coordinates training and evaluation of instrument technicians.
