What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Five (5) years of funeral home, care center and/or decedent care preparation, State specific required diploma or accreditations, Holds and maintains any State specific licensing and/or certifications, Valid State Driver’s License

What You'll Do.

Manage day-to-day Personal Care Center operations

Ensure compliance with regulations

Ensure compliance with policies

Ensure compliance with procedures

Ensure compliance with safety

Develop work schedules

Delegate workload across resources

Perform embalming responsibilities

Perform preparation responsibilities

Perform crematory responsibilities

Maintain a clean preparation room

Maintain a stocked preparation room

Maintain a compliant preparation room

Clean soiled equipment

Clean hazardous material spills

Handle hazardous materials

Ensure adequate supply

Request Care Center equipment maintenance

Request Crematory equipment maintenance

Escalate equipment replacement to management

Inspect deceased at various preparation stages

Ensure result meets family’s expectations

Collaborate with Learning & Development on training needs

Develop procedure checklists

Execute training activities

Participate in training activities

Train team on safe working environment

Train team on procedures

Retrain staff to ensure compliance

Oversee day-to-day Care Center operations

Develop work schedules

Communicate priorities
