What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 years of experience in the meat industry, Farm Boy approved Food Safety Course, Level A First Aid and Basic CPR certification, Good working knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety principles, and associated operational risks, organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows environments, Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence, Comfortable working in a hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, repetitive movement or tasks, frequent use of protective equipment or clothing, and work that is frequently performed in colder environments, Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

supporting the efficient daily operations of the Farm Boy GTA Central Meat Facility
contributing to the coordinated efforts of producing
and distributing high-quality fresh meat products
ensuring operational excellence
and regulatory compliance
supporting daily operations to help ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining a quality service approach to all employees
coordinating all functions of the Central Meat Facility including: inventory control
and billing processes to ensure accuracy
and timely distribution of retail products
supporting the recruitment
and recognition of Central Meat team members
ensuring compliance with all company policies
and regulatory requirements related to facility operations
overseeing and supporting the execution of cleaning and sanitation practices in accordance with Government regulations and Farm Boy food safety standards
promoting and maintaining safe working conditions by ensuring Health & Safety policies
food safety procedures
and operational best practices are consistently followed
team-oriented work environment
overseeing and participating in the preparation
and distribution of fresh meat products while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency
and overall facility performance
taking on additional responsibilities on a periodic basis to support overall department operations
