What They're Looking For.
Must Have
post-secondary education plus 1 year of culinary, kitchen management, or food production experience in a high-volume retail or production environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, Successful completion of a Farm Boy approved Food Safety Course plus Level A First Aid and Basic CPR certification, or the commitment to complete within 6 months, Experience planning and producing food in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, Hands-on team player with demonstrated leadership ability and experience supporting teams in achieving production goals, Successful completion of Level 1 and 2 Health and Safety certification, or the commitment to complete within 6 months, Good working knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety principles, and associated operational risks, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows environments, organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills, Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence, Comfortable working in an environment that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, frequent use of protective equipment, and work that may be performed in colder environments, with flexible availability including evenings, overnight, and weekends as required

What You'll Do.

contributes to the coordinated efforts of producing
and distributing high quality retail and catering products while ensuring operational excellence
and regulatory compliance
supports daily operations to help ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining a quality service approach to all employees
Support and coordinate daily production operations to ensure production requirements
and product yield expectations are achieved
Oversee and assist with the preparation
and distribution of retail and catering products while maintaining high standards of quality
and direct customer order administration to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
and day-to-day support to team members on operational procedures
Assist with staffing schedules
and team meetings in support of operational requirements
and packaging orders while monitoring inventory levels
incoming product quality
and freshness standards
Manage delivery and courier scheduling and ensure products are packaged appropriately for shipment and distribution
and catering inquiries
and custom order requests
including preparing catering proposals and quotations as required
preparation procedures
product costing documentation
and other operational documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies
Government regulations
Health & Safety standards
and food safety requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives and foster a positive
team-oriented work environment focused on communication
