What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED, At least 18 years of age, Reliable transportation, Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, Willing to obtain TB test, Able to lift up to 50lbs, Able to run/move quickly, Able to get down on the floor and stand up many times, Must be able to physically perform this job, Must be very reliable, Must always be professional, Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions, Understanding of technology to record data on mobile device, Good written communication skills, Good verbal communication skills, Cultural competency, Ability to remain flexible and open minded, Patience to help keep clients on task, Able to maintain emotional control, Attention to detail, Ability to do repetitive things in a precise manner, Willing to participate in background check process
Nice to Have
Current certification as RBT, Experience working as Behavioral Technician, Experience working with children with autism or other learning disabilities, Experience as Teacher's Aid, Experience as Tutor, Experience as CNA, Experience as Caregiver, Experience as Home Health Aide
What You'll Do.
Provide direct client care
Follow behavioral skill acquisition protocols
Follow behavior reduction protocols
Collect client behavior data
Record client behavior data
Summarize client behavior data
Assist with parent caregiver training
Ensure documentation is completed on time
Communicate with parents and caregivers
Utilize safe procedures
Report all critical incidents
Report safety concerns
Maintain a clean work environment
Maintain a safe therapy environment
Maintain an organized therapy environment
Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials
Assist BCBA in preparation of behavior reduction assessments
Assist BCBA in preparation of skills acquisition
