What You'll Achieve.
Help the development of children who are on the Autism Spectrum.; Increase critical developmental skills such as language and communication, social, and school readiness behaviors.
Industry & Context.
Willing to participate in the company’s background check process., Must have reliable transportation and in some cases, proof of driver’s license and valid car insurance., Must be able to physically perform this job, including getting down on the floor and standing up many times, lifting up to 50lbs and the ability to run/move quickly if required to do so for the interaction with and safety and protection of the children with whom you work., Must always be professional in terms of both presentation and conduct.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or willingness to complete training and sit for exam within 45 days of employment, Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, Reliable transportation, At least 18 years of age, Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification, Willing to obtain a TB test if not had one in the past year, Ability to physically perform job duties including getting down on the floor, standing up many times, lifting up to 50lbs, and ability to run/move quickly, Reliability and ability to show up for each scheduled therapy appointment, Professional presentation and conduct, Patience, Ability to maintain emotional control, Positive attitude, Attention to detail, Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions, Understanding of technology to record data on a mobile device and navigate digital applications, Good written and verbal communication skills, Cultural competency, Flexibility, Open mindedness
Nice to Have
Experience working as a Behavioral Technician, Experience working in some capacity with children with autism or other learning disabilities, Experience working as a Teacher's Aid, Experience working as a Tutor, Experience working as a CNA, Experience working as a Caregiver, Experience working as a Home Health Aide
What You'll Do.
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training.
Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in client’s individualized treatment plan built by BCBAC.

Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures.
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBAC.
Utilize safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients and appropriately report all critical incidents and safety concerns.

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).; Assist BCBA in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition.
