Must Have
3+ years of CDI experience, 3+ years of clinical experience, Registered Nurse license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing, CCDS or CDIP certification required, Pass a CDI skills competency assessment, Accommodate a min of 15 hours per week
Nice to Have
Perform daily evaluations pertaining to the quality and accuracy of clinical documentation in medical records
What You'll Do.
Conduct documentation reviews for inpatient records
Address inadequate or conflicting documentation
Collaborate with physicians and caregivers
Ensure appropriate reimbursement and clinical severity
Educate physicians and caregivers on documentation importance
Query physicians regarding documentation
Obtain necessary details
Maintain daily production logs
Track queries placed/responded
Perform follow-up reviews
Confirm recorded points of clarification
Ensure confidentiality of all files
Meet or exceed production and quality metrics
