High School Diploma or Equivalent, Class A or CDL, At least 18 years of age, Valid Virginia driver’s license, 3 years of clean driving, Demonstrated training/experience in roadway maintenance, Construction background/experience

What You'll Do.
Interpret plans and schematics
Install highway guardrail layouts
Handle and place guardrail materials
Load and unload materials
Operate Post Pounder/Driver Truck
Operate highway maintenance equipment
Repair cable guardrails
Clear drainage systems
Patch damaged pavements
Patch eroded shoulders
Assist with storm cleanup
Respond to emergencies
