What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or equivalent, Valid CDL Class A or B, Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, Clean Motor Vehicle Record, 2 years commercial driving experience, 2 years training experience, Adult learner teaching ability, DOT physical examination, Required drug and alcohol screenings, Required background checks
Nice to Have
Motorcoach experience, Experience training CDL drivers, Knowledge of FMCSA ELDT regulations, Experience conducting road tests, Driver evaluation experience, Safety supervisory experience, Compliance supervisory experience, Transportation supervisory experience
What You'll Do.
Conduct classroom training
Conduct behind-the-wheel training
Deliver training in accordance with standards
Deliver training in accordance with FMCSA regulations
Deliver training in accordance with industry best practices
Evaluate driver performance
Provide constructive feedback
Conduct road evaluations
Conduct skills assessments
Provide refresher training
Provide remedial training
Provide safety-focused training
Reinforce defensive driving techniques
Reinforce passenger safety practices
Reinforce customer service expectations
Ensure DOT compliance
Ensure FMCSA compliance
Ensure ELDT compliance
Ensure state licensing compliance
Maintain accurate training records
Support driver development initiatives
Promote a culture of safety
