**CDL Driver – Lakeside Disposal (Waste Connections)** **Location:** Moses Lake, WA **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–3:00 PM, with occasional overtime **Pay:** $29.15/ per hour **Safety Sensitive:** Yes **Position Overview** The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating an Automated Side‑Load garbage truck to service residential and commercial customers throughout the Moses Lake area. This role requires strong attention to safety, the ability to work independently, and the physical capability to perform demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions. Drivers must maintain compliance with DOT regulations, complete accurate inspections, and provide courteous service to every customer on their assigned route. **Key Responsibilities** · Operate an Automated Side‑Load refuse truck safely and efficiently on assigned routes. · Read and follow route sheets or tablet‑based routing to ensure all customers are serviced. · Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, including checking fluids, lights, safety equipment, and tire pressure. · Maintain compliance with DOT laws, company safety standards, and operational procedures. · Interact professionally with customers and address service concerns when needed. · Complete required reports, logs, and documentation accurately. · Assist with other job‑related tasks as assigned by dispatch or management. · Work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, pushing, and pulling 50+ lbs. · Submit to and pass background checks and pre‑employment drug screening. **Working Conditions** · Frequent heavy physical activity, including lifting, climbing, bending, and pushing/pulling. · Exposure to outdoor weather year‑round, including rain, snow, heat, and humidity. · Work around moving mechanical parts, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols. · Exposure to dust, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise levels. **Required Qualifications** · Valid **Class A or B CDL** with **Air Brake endorsement**. · Minimum **1
