What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED, Valid CDL Class license, Hazmat and Tanker endorsement, At least 21 years of age
Nice to Have
Three or more years of related Industry experience, Ability to operate a CMV, Valid driver’s license free of moving violations and accidents, Knowledge of facility permitting, Knowledge of DOT packaging requirements, Knowledge of OSHA Regulations, Driver E-Log Experience, Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Knowledge of waste routing, Knowledge of disposal of Hazardous Materials, 40hr Hazwoper Certificate
What You'll Do.
Pick up and transport waste safely
Complete manifests & work orders
Adhere to assigned route
Classify waste containers
Segregate waste containers
Inventory waste containers
Conduct lab pack operations
Pack chemical waste containers
Perform regulatory training
Perform compliance tasks
Inspect vehicle pre-trip
Report losses to supervisor
Report spills to supervisor
Report accidents to supervisor
Report leaking containers to supervisor
Report safety violations to supervisor
Provide professional contact with customers
Deliver waste containers
Promote waste containers
Collect waste containers
Provide hazardous waste removal services
Provide non-hazardous waste removal services
Process Universal Hazardous Waste manifests
Prepare Universal Hazardous Waste manifests
Process bills of lading
Prepare bills of lading
Process Land Disposal Restrictions
Prepare Land Disposal Restrictions
Perform warehouse work
Receive waste materials
Store waste materials
Distribute waste materials
Deliver waste materials
Adhere to assigned route
Escalate deviations to Management
Operate a Pallet Jack
Maintain vehicle functionality
Maintain vehicle cleanliness
Maintain equipment functionality
Maintain equipment cleanliness
Perform other tasks as assigned
