What They're Looking For.
Must Have
CDL Class, HazMat Endorsement, Tanker Endorsement, Valid Driver License, High school diploma or GED
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of Environmental/Regulatory/DOT rules, Some College or waste industry experience, Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)
What You'll Do.
Pick up and transport waste safely
Complete manifests / work orders
Classify waste containers
Segregate waste containers
Inventory waste containers
Conduct lab pack operations
Process Universal Hazardous Waste manifests
Process bills of lading
Process Land Disposal Restrictions
Provide hazardous waste removal services
Provide non-hazardous waste removal services
Perform regulatory compliance tasks
Conduct pre-trip inspections
Report losses to supervisor
Report spills to supervisor
Report accidents to supervisor
Report safety violations to supervisor
Resolve leaking containers
Resolve containers in non-compliance
Contact customers daily
Deliver waste containers
Promote waste container services
Collect waste containers
Perform warehouse work
Store waste materials
Distribute waste materials
Deliver waste materials
Operate other heavy equipment
Perform other reasonably related tasks
