What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable), Clean driving record, Willing to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems and strap flatbed loads, Operate trailer mounted forklift, Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist, Ability to work independently or with a team, Ability to plan and manage time efficiently, Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions
Nice to Have
Multi-drop delivery experience a plus
What You'll Do.
transport and deliver building materials to our dealers
distribution centers and/or construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
Perform pre & post-trip inspections thoroughly
Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
Immediately report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed
Actively ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett
Verify entire content loads prior to leaving manufacturing facility or job site
Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods
