Must Have
High school or equivalent diploma, Active and unrestricted in-state pharmacy technician license, National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA), 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools
Nice to Have
1+ year of phone or customer service experience, 6+ months of experience working in a pharmacy related role, 6+ months of Amazon Health Services Customer Care experience, Experience navigating and troubleshooting technical issues, Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications, Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
What You'll Do.
Maintain understanding of Amazon Pharmacy policies
Communicate with providers for prescriptions
Verify prescription information completeness
Learn pharmacy laws and regulations
Follow compliance guidance
Maintain customer information confidentiality
Proactively identify areas for improvement
Maintain customer-centric commitment to quality
Collaborate with teammates
Answer incoming telephone calls
Serve customers in a timely manner
Triage insurance claim issues
Advise customers on prescription status
Perform account adjustments
Transfer calls to pharmacist
Provide technical support for pharmacy.amazon.com
Resolve customer issues
Make outbound calls for urgent situations
Answer calls from Customer Care Representatives
Assist Customer Care Representatives with guidance
Handle escalated calls
Follow through escalated calls to resolution
Serve as point of contact for system outages
Notify parties for resolution
Support various business lines
Cross train as needed
