As a 24/7 STEMI program the Cath Lab offers state of the art procedures such as TAVRs, Mitral Clips, Watchman/Amulet, PFO Closures, and is a high-volume PCI center. There are 6 Cath procedure rooms, located in the newly built Crystal Springs Tower. The Crystal Springs Tower is a 400,000-square-foot expansion to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital – the home of our Cardiovascular Institute and an expanded Emergency Department. **What we do:** Some of the complex therapies/treatments performed include: · Cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring (SWAN pulmonary artery pressure monitoring, continuous trans venous pacing (TVP) · Equipment includes: Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), IMPELLA ventricular assist device, Shockwave, Rotablator and CSI · Procedures: Diagnostic, Interventional and Complex/High Risk PCI, Structural (TAVR, TMVR, PFO/ASD, Paravalvular Leak, LAA Closure), Cardiomems, LVAD/ Advanced Heart Failure, Diagnostic and Interventional Peripheral Procedures · Structural Research Clinical Trails: BASELINE Trail, ENCIRCLE trial, Cerclage EFS, CLASP II T
