What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field., 5-8 years of experience in procurement, supply management, engineering, or operations., Experience managing suppliers and categories in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device or similar preferred)., Knowledge of packaging materials, components, and supplier manufacturing processes., Experience working with suppliers in China and Malaysia., negotiation, analytical, and financial skills., Proven track record of delivery of results
Nice to Have
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority., written and verbal communication skills., Experience with SAP or similar ERP Power BI or reporting tools a plus., Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience preferred., Contract negotiation experience
What You'll Do.
Own and execute packaging category strategies
Lead supplier sourcing
Manage ongoing supplier performance
Act as primary procurement contact
Manage escalations and continuous improvement
Support new product introductions
Support packaging changes
Support supplier qualifications
Support capacity expansions
Drive cost reduction initiatives
Ensure supplier compliance
Track and report key category metrics
Support CAPEX and OPEX planning
Participate in root cause analysis
Participate in corrective actions

Team & Collaboration
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance; Coordinate with Global Procurement Packaging Manager; Collaborate with Engineering and Operations; Partner with Finance
