What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate's degree or higher, minimum of three years' experience working in a YouthBuild program or similar education/workforce development training program, 3+ years' experience managing complex projects, overseeing program implementation, Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and interpretation in program level evaluation, Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, writing, communications, and documentation skills, Commitment to cultural humility, comfort working with a wide range of populations and individuals, Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality

Experience as a program manager or director
What You'll Do.
Provide High Quality Coaching and Technical Assistance
consistent communication
Connect local program staff to resources
Conduct virtual and in-person site visits
Serve as the main point of contact
Ensure all programs in portfolio are in good standing
Consistently and accurately document interactions
Collaborate with staff at YouthBuild affiliates
Coordinate with YouthBuild Global team
Manage tools and systems for gathering student placements
Engage with YouthBuild program staff to compile and analyze data
Support and facilitate industry sector training sessions

For more information about YouthBuild Global and the YouthBuild movement, visit [YouthBuild.org](http://youthbuild.org/). **Job Summary ** The YouthBuild Model coach provides results-driven, high quality technical assistance and coaching for a focused portfolio of YouthBuild programs piloting career pathways in Energy Infrastructure and Manufacturing. The Catalyst Pilot, new in 2026, will ensure graduates don’t just secure jobs—they advance in careers with stability, growth potential, and resilience against automation. Reporting to the Senior Director of Network Engagement & Program Success and supporting the Chief Program Officer for projects related to Catalyst Pilot and other YouthBuild Global Affiliated Network sites, the Coach will support the implementation of the YouthBuild model and enhance network engagement by connecting with and learning from affiliates to create learning materials and trainings related to the needs of YouthBuild program staff.
