Must Have
1-3 years' experience required, Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologies, Advanced registry in CT required, Graduated from accredited Radiology program, Licensed by NJ State DEP, BLS certification required, Communicate in English orally and in writing
Nice to Have
Experience with Power injectors preferred, IV certified preferred
What You'll Do.
Perform CT examinations
Follow departmental protocol
Produce quality diagnostic images
Assume accountability for delivery of care
Communicate with attending Radiologist
Verify provider orders
Obtain and document patient history
Ensure CT room cleanliness
Adhere to infection control standards
Prioritize and organize work assignments
Adjust priorities based on changing situations
Prepare patient for procedures
Provide instructions to patients
Operate CT equipment properly
Operate medical imaging equipment safely
Assist in administration of contrast materials
Perform daily Quality Control
Perform monthly Quality Control
Perform semi-annual Quality Control
