Full Job Description

At Genea, patient care, science and technology are equally important. We pride ourselves on our ability to communicate to patients throughout their cycle on a regular basis and all of our patients have their embryo’s cultured in our timelapse incubator - Geri. Patients also have the ability to view their embryo’s development throughout their cycle on our unique Grow App that was developed inhouse. This is a unique offering that is available to Genea patients only. Genea Canberra currently has a casual position available for an Andrology Scientist to join our scientific team in our clinic. The position requires an Andrology Scientist to partake in ART sample preparation, diagnostic sperm analysis, and laboratory maintenance on Saturdays and public holidays. This role will see you performing all aspects of Andrology services and diagnostic procedures in the laboratory. As an Andrologist your scope of work will include; * Manual handling of gametes * Diagnostic Andrology procedures * ART sperm preparation for IUI, IVF, and ICSI procedures * Laboratory maintenance including equipment checks, maintaining stock * Communicating directly with patients and maintaining accurate records Work in a friendly team with exposure to new technologies and instruments - this is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development ## Qualifications We are seeking an experienced and qualified Andrologist for this role - experience in an IVF laboratory is essential. You will have excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The ability to work as part of a small, skilled team is essential.
