Must Have
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.
Nice to Have
High school diploma or GED (preferred), One year of prior retail or related experience preferred.
What You'll Do.
Operating cash register and electronic scanner to itemize and total customers' purchases
and assist in bagging purchases for customers
Process financial transactions
Weigh and carefully bag customer purchases
Understand use of check-stand equipment and its efficient operation
Responsible for front-end duties such as merchandising check-stand
Ensure proper use of product identification and corresponding PLUs; report errors in pricing or signage
Maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations
Communicate the Company programs
in-store specials and coupons to customers
Comply with Company policies regarding security
cash handling/cash drawer accounting procedures
the sale of alcohol and tobacco products
Maintain a clean and well-stocked ensure the department complies with Company safety and sanitation procedures and standards
May be responsible to assist with stocking items
Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
Follow guest experience guidelines
May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need
