What They're Looking For.

Must Have

A Cert IV or willingness to obtain in Social Work, Social Welfare, Youth Work, Community Services or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated disability case management experience will be considered., A minimum of one year’s experience in family and domestic violence, youth work or community‑based case management, with demonstrated ability to support people with complex needs., understanding of trauma‑informed care, child and adolescent development, and child and youth safe practices, with the ability to apply these in practice., Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal cultures, communities and protocols, with the ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal young people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are strongly encouraged to apply., Well‑developed communication, interpersonal and engagement skills, with the ability to adapt communication to suit diverse audiences, including CALD communities., organisational, time‑management and administrative skills, including report writing, data collection and use of client management systems., Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating resilience, initiative, sound judgement and confidence in navigating ambiguity and complexity., First Aid & CPR Certificate is required., Full driver licence with no restrictions., national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, clearance to work with children/vulnerable people

What You'll Do.

Provide trauma‑informed

non‑clinical psychosocial support to children and young people aged 12–25 years who are experiencing or have been exposed to family and domestic violence.

Deliver end‑to‑end case management

assessment of suitability

development of holistic and strength‑based case plans

and regular review of progress against goals.

Maintain an active caseload of approximately 15–20 clients

providing one‑to‑one support for up to 12 months or longer where required.

implement and regularly review individualised case management and safety plans in collaboration with clients and their families.

office‑based appointments and outreach in community‑based safe spaces

ensuring client safety and wellbeing at all times.

Provide advocacy and practical assistance

including support with forms and applications (e. g. housing

and referral to appropriate internal and external services.

timely and confidential client records

in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
