At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. Position: Cart Builder. Shift: From Sunday to Wednesday(Sunday: 7:00AM-5:30PM, Monday:9:00AM-7:30PM, Tuesday and Wednesday:9:00AM-6:30PM). Salary Range: $16.00-$20.00 What's the Short Version? A Cart Builder is responsible for efficiently building restock carts by separating cases of product from pallet onto designated carts as directed by a voice and/or radio frequency (RF) unit. They build/prepare pulling carts using voice and/or RF unit in accordance to ship times, size of orders and customer's requests, and Dynamics. What Will You Be Doing? Build carts by following standard operating procedures. Move product with a pallet jack and/or hand truck. Relocates product from Slow Bay using RF unit. Use Radio Frequency (RF) unit in combination with Internal Operating System to perform daily work. What Are We Looking For? High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Demonstrates ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require. Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate Radio Frequency (RF) unit. Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment and meet deadlines. Comprehend verbal and written instructions. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Able to work both independently and within a team. Essential days or overtime may be required. Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
