Industry & Context.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion, Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking, Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, up and down stairs, Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure, Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access, background check, E-Verify, Must maintain and wear PPE as required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Three (3) years of carpentry or construction experience required, Must have the ability and be willing to work outside of normal working hours, Must be able to work in a variety of different environments, Must be able to read and understand schematics and blueprints, A valid state driver’s license is required, Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
Nice to Have
Journeyman carpenter license preferred
What You'll Do.
preventative maintenance
Perform carpentry work consistent with existing facility
and alteration of buildings and structures
Maintain cable trolley systems and obstacle course apparatuses
and remove interior and exterior walls
Assemble and secure furniture and fixtures
Utilized mobile maintenance and inspection devices
Ensure all installations
and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements
and service equipment
Conduct mold and asbestos testing and abatement
Operate company-provided vehicles
