Bachelors’ degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience, Communication skills and knowledge about community resources, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Ability to make well-thought-out decisions, Computer literate, MS Word and Excel skills, Ability to learn specialized databases and software systems, Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base, Ability to be culturally sensitive, Ability to motivate career seekers towards achieving goals, Business acumen, Ability to meet and exceed set goals and objectives, Excellent interpersonal skills, Excellent time management skills, Excellent customer service skills, Excellent organizational skills, Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, Knowledgeable about the WIOA program, Knowledgeable about other workforce program requirements, Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, Remain flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, Maintain a high level of confidentiality, Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines, Work under pressure, Valid Driver’s License

What You'll Do.

Provide information and case management services

Complete intake and eligibility determination

Assess career seekers’ employment

Serve as a liaison between workforce development programs

Enter data into participant information system

Process career seekers through participant information system

Guide career seekers through preparation of individual employment

Stay on top of labor market trends and

Counsel career seekers on job opportunities

Refer individuals to appropriate services

Follow up on referral activities

Conduct orientation sessions

Conduct other group presentations

Maintain accurate individual case files

Assure files contain required eligibility documents

Meet program benchmarks

Exceed program benchmarks

Participate in staff-related events

Participate in training

Participate in team meetings

Complete required reports

Approach each day with a solutions-oriented mindset
