Able to use good judgement in day‑to‑day situations
Mileage, 30p mileage between clients, 12–16 hours to start (more as the rota grows), Every second weekend off, Guaranteed hours available after successful probation, Employee Assistance Programme, Refer a Friend: £300, 7am–2pm shifts, Alternate weekends (essential for this role), Some flexibility to support client continuity, Travel between villages, Physical fitness and mobility to support personal care tasks
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Valid UK Driving Licence, Own vehicle with appropriate insurance for business use, Right to work in the UK, Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain), Satisfactory references from previous employers or character referees, Honest about your availability, A driver with access to your own car, Alternate weekends (essential for this role), Some flexibility to support client continuity
Nice to Have
Health and Safety awareness or basic training, Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion, Willingness to undertake City & Guilds-accredited dementia training and ongoing professional development, Reliable transport and punctuality record, Flexibility and adaptability to support client continuity
