Job Description: **Care Assistant** **Location:** The Donnington Care Home, Wantage Road, Donnington, Newbury RG14 3BE **Contract:** Permanent - Part Time - 22 hours per week **Hours:** Covering days and nights **Salary:** £13.30 to £14.30 depending on experience **CQC rating:** Good **Carehome.co.uk rating:** 9.7 / 10 **NOTE:** This role requires you to have your own transport due to the homes location The Donnington in Newbury focuses on round-the-clock support for a wide range of needs. Care provision includes nursing or residential care, convalescence and respite, as well as palliative care support and help for adults with Parkinson’s. Residents can stay for a week, a month or longer– however long residents or loved ones need support. They’ll get to relax and meet new friends, giving families complete peace of mind. The home has a dedicated respite room that can be booked up to six months in advance, staff are happy to accept last-minute requests too. With scenic countryside surroundings, this converted red-brick Victorian house offers comfortable social environments, light and airy lounges, en-suite bedrooms and on-site therapies. The chef works hard to achieve a menu that pleases each resident, with all food home-cooked and nutritionally balanced.
