Must Have
Associate or Bachelor’s degree, Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification, RCIS certified within six months, ARRT and TX RT(R) required
Nice to Have
Science emphasis degree, Commensurate healthcare experience
What You'll Do.
Assist with technical aspects of procedures
Assist in teaching and orientation
Assist physician as monitor tech
Interpret basic and advanced dysrhythmia
Operate physiologic recorder
Interpret normal and abnormal pressures
Assist physician as scrub tech
Operate imaging equipment
Assist physician with diagnostic procedures
Monitor patient status during procedure
Hand supplies to scrub tech
Assist with transport of patient
Cleans and stocks cath lab
Demonstrates knowledge of medications
Demonstrates knowledge of dosages
Demonstrates theoretical knowledge of procedures
Orders supplies for cath lab
Removes arterial sheath
Removes venous sheath
Monitors patient status post procedure
Prepares lab for procedure
Sets up for procedure
Maintains sterile technique
Prepares patient for procedure
Marks arterial pulses
Troubleshoots equipment problems
