What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience, BLS required, Successfully passed the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exams, 2+ years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab in a hospital setting or meeting the requirements of certification board
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree, Additional related education and/or experience, ACLS may be required depending on assignment, National certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable
What You'll Do.
Assist in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
Perform/review a baseline patient evaluation
Evaluate patients’ response to diagnosis
Operate diagnostic and therapeutic equipment
Troubleshoot equipment
Maintain a safe environment
Monitor and record ECG and pressure waves
Provide other aspects of patient care
Demonstrate principles of aseptic and sterile techniques
Dispose of sharps and trash
Prepare instruments for cleaning

Work with physicians; Work with Team of physicians; Work with all levels of nursing management and staff; Work with medical staff; Work with all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team
