What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completion of recognized post diploma Cardiovascular Principles and Instrumentation (C. P. I. ) program, Basic Cardiac Life Support (B. C. L. S. ), Level II Basic Rescuer Certification, Minimum of two (2) years recent cardiac ultrasound experience, Computer literacy required, Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO), Registration with Sonography Canada or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

Excellent problem recognition and problem solving skills, Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, Excellent hand-eye coordination, Ability to function effectively in stressful situations

Perform ultrasound imaging procedures
Operate ultrasound equipment
Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
Ensure equipment performs efficiently
Prepare written reports
Prepare electronic reports
Document all procedures
Document test results
Perform patient handling responsibilities
Facilitate optimal patient care
Participate in teaching programs
