What You'll Do.

Prepare and cook meals in line with menu plans
Serve food to customers in a friendly
Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature
Assist with menu planning where required
Provide a high standard of customer service to all staff and visitors
Handle customer queries
and feedback in a polite and professional manner
Maintain a welcoming and respectful canteen environment
Place food and supply orders in line with agreed budgets and supplier guidelines
Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supplies at all times
Rotate stock correctly and minimise waste
Check deliveries for quality
Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all food preparation and service areas
and company hygiene procedures at all times
and storage areas are cleaned and sanitised regularly
Comply with hand hygiene
and uniform standards
Assist with food safety checks
and cleaning schedules
Follow all health & safety policies and safe systems of work
Use kitchen equipment safely and report any faults or hazards
