What You'll Do.
Assist law enforcement and District Security with enforcement
Promote a drug-free school environment
Watch for disturbances
unauthorized visitors
Assess danger and call for assistance
Intervene to halt or prevent fights
Diffuse threatening or confrontational situations between students or
Ensure order is restored and students are unharmed
Monitor visitor access during school hours
Ensure only authorized persons enter to maintain a
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Monitor and supervise students’ activities at assigned locations
Enforce parking regulations
Issue verbal warnings
Promote a safer learning environment
Enforce Student Conduct and Discipline Code and other
Administer warnings to students
Refer students to building administrators for disciplinary action
Maintain a peaceful environment

Provides a positive role model for students and develops and promotes positive relationships with students. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele. Minimum Experience: One (1) to three (3) years job related experience preferred, which may be gained by one (1) to three (3) years experience in law enforcement, adolescent supervision programs, or similar activities; or two (2) years education in law enforcement, social services, behavioral sciences, counseling, or similar areas.
