What They're Looking For.
Must Have
One (1) to three (3) years job related experience, Two (2) years education in law enforcement, social services, behavioral sciences, counseling, or similar areas
Nice to Have
One (1) to three (3) years experience in law enforcement, adolescent supervision programs, or similar
What You'll Do.
Promote proactive security services
Serve as positive role model
Develop positive relationships with students
Develop good community relations
Secure campus after hours
Monitor limited ingress point
Check doors prior to leaving
Assist with enforcement of policies
Mitigate strategies for drug-free school
Monitor visitor access
Enforce Student Conduct and Discipline Code
Administer warnings to students
Refer students for disciplinary action
Work collaboratively with school staff
Monitor and supervise students’ activities
Enforce parking regulations
Issue verbal warnings
Issue written warnings
Issue parking summonses
Watch for disturbances
Watch for unauthorized visitors
Watch for criminal activity
Intervene to halt fights
Intervene to prevent fights
Intervene to halt disturbances
Intervene to prevent disturbances
Diffuse threatening situations
Diffuse confrontational situations
Ensure students are unharmed
