Must Have
Doctorate in Health Sciences or related field, or currently enrolled in a doctorate in a relevant field and have completed doctoral coursework., University teaching or teaching assistant experience, preferably at the graduate level., Recent and significant involvement in research or other scholarly activities relevant to the course, evidenced by publications, scholarly communications, participation in funded research projects, scientific communication activities, knowledge mobilization, or other relevant scholarly contributions., Demonstrated expertise in theoretical and empirical perspectives on biological, behavioral, and social processes influencing health, illness, disability, and well-being throughout the lifespan., Concrete experience in applying research frameworks, study design, critical evaluation, and interdisciplinary approaches in conducting health research.
Nice to Have
Teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level.
What You'll Do.
Teach theoretical and empirical perspectives on biological
and social processes influencing health
Critically evaluate current theories and empirical evidence.
Discuss how interdisciplinary approaches to research and practice can be applied to complex health problems.
Teach in a hybrid format requiring a minimum of 75% in-person instruction.
