Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. **WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION** * Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from project specifications, sketches, or notes. * Build final drawing packets based on Trachte job specifications, ensuring consistency in design standards, dimensions, scaling, and CAD operations. * Make adjustments or changes as requested by the customer or Project Manager. * Use CAD software (SolidWorks) and equipment to build technical drawings. Maintain job logs and historical references to support project tracking and documentation. * Support a collaborative work environment that encourages pride in the product and values individual contributions. * Perform other duties as assigned. **YOU HAVE:** * Associate or bachelor’s degree in Drafting Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in lieu of a degree, preferred. * 3 years of experience working in a CAD department is strongly preferred. * Proven understanding of SolidWorks is strongly preferred. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and demonstrates knowledge of an ERP system. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
