What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 2 years of or 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree, Additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor of Science Degree, Demonstrated experience with cable / harness design, routing and documentation, Demonstrated 2D and 3D Cable Routing and Design experience with CAD packages, Must be a US Citizen, Must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI access security clearance, Bachelor of Science degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 5 years of or 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree
Nice to Have
Experience with PTC Cabling, Solidworks, Siemens NX, Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Experience with electromechanical or electronics cable design for airborne/military applications, Experience in CAD Design packages, PTC Cabling, Solidworks Cable Routing, and Siemens NX/Siemens Capital, Diverse product development experience in flight qualified electronics packaging design, Proficiency with a PLM for releasing documentation, Familiarity with ASME Y14. 5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Exceptional attention to detail, Self-motivation, Self-regulation

Provide technical advice on cable & harness products
Resolve cable & harness problems
Modify product to customer requirements
electronic and mechanical principles
Support 3D cable routing
Support Wiring Diagrams
Support Interconnect Diagrams
Support design of prototype electromechanical systems
Support test of prototype electromechanical systems
Support modification of prototype electromechanical systems
Support fabrication of prototype electromechanical systems
Support assembly of prototype electromechanical systems
Package CCAs and electronic modules
Identify requirements using system engineering
Synthesize requirements using system engineering
Provide novel solutions
Incorporate design for manufacturing principles
Drive down product costs
Drive down assembly time
Provide engineering oversight during hardware assembly
Provide engineering oversight during hardware test
Develop preliminary design review content
Develop critical design review content
Create technical data packages
Create fabrication drawings
Create source control drawings
Create assembly drawings
Promote knowledge transfer within organization
Share lessons learned
Provide engineering support to material review boards
