Engage in technical discussions with system suppliers to align on design concepts
Create and utilize complex Matlab/Simulink control systems
including high-fidelity software models

****Job Description:**** This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems **Task description** * Support the conception phase of new CPCS architectures for single-aisle aircraft * Apply standardized methodologies to identify operational scenarios, architecture drivers, and design constraints (e.g. safety and performance) * Support the definition and specification of architectural "bricks" and components * Ensure system architecture requirements align with program objectives, including safety, cost-efficiency, maintainability, and retrofitting capabilities * Engage in technical discussions with system suppliers to align on design concepts * Create and utilize complex Matlab/Simulink control systems, including high-fidelity software models **Required qualifications** The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Aeronautical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering or comparable courses of study and related subject-specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification.
