What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proficiency in modern C++, Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, English proficiency
Nice to Have
2+ years of applicable experience, Proficiency in one other programming language (python, java, javascript, etc. ), Practical knowledge of Boost libraries, Experience with Linux environment, Collaborating in international projects, 5+ years of applicable experience, Experience with virtualization (Docker, WSL, Vagrant, etc. ), Experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools, Experience in embedded programming, Experience in software development for avionics systems or complex electronics products, Experience with Bazel / BitBake, Experience with REST API / gRPC / protobuf
What You'll Do.
Utilizing modern computer programming techniques
languages and agile software development methodologies to build software for delivered Boeing systems
Performing engineering activities including architecture
integration and testing
Proactively contributing to project execution plan to set and effectively achieve operational goals
Project estimation and planning
innovating and continuously improving the software engineering process as well as quality
safety and reliability of products and services provided by Boeing
