Do you like being ahead of the curve? To work on developing software for new market leading technology? As a Software Developer at Robin Radar, you will do just that! The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to directly work on our software development and will be able to build, adapt, and modify the software of our radar products. To put it in simple terms, they will develop mind blowing radar tech! Your work will be crucial as equipping our radars with the best performing software also creates a better functioning product to our customers, and increases safety too. Not only that, but you will be part of an amazing growing and Agile I&D Software Engineering Team, reporting directly to the team lead, who is there to support and guide you. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code. - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. - Working with other departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. - Analyzing information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems or modifications of an existing system. - Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements. - Give direction to software programming and documentation development. REQUIREMENTS - BA/MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. - A minimum of 5 years' experience as a C++ Software Developer and with current knowledge of (advanced) C++ 17/20 standards. - Extensive experience in developing and deploying software on Linux. - Knowledge of multithreaded code, real-time environments and Qt. - Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases, JSON and XML. - Familiarity with low-level hardware interactions. - Ability to develop unit tests of code components using GoogleTest. - Experience with Bitbucket or similar vers
