## Description Buyer / Planner Location: Marietta, OH Job Type: Direct Hire Salary: Starting at $60,000 annually, with higher compensation based on experience Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Buyer / Planner to support production operations by managing purchasing, planning, and material flow activities. This role is responsible for overseeing the full production lifecycle, from material planning and procurement through assembly and shipping support. The ideal candidate will have strong ERP/MRP knowledge, manufacturing industry experience, and the ability to manage materials efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. ## Primary Responsibilities Develop and manage production material plans for assigned manufacturing activities. Coordinate purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and production-related supplies. Track materials throughout the production cycle, including procurement, receiving, inventory management, assembly support, and shipment preparation. Utilize ERP/MRP software to maintain inventory accuracy and support production scheduling requirements. Work closely with operations, inventory, and production teams to ensure material availability aligns with manufacturing demands. Source and procure manufacturing components, including electrical products such as wiring, cabling, meters, and related materials. Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and planning records within company systems. Identify and help resolve material shortages, delivery delays, and inventory discrepancies. Support continuous improvement efforts related to supply chain and production planning processes. ## Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, production planning, material planning, or a related supply chain role.
