Own purchasing activities
Own planning activities
Place purchase orders
Manage purchase orders
Ensure alignment with production schedules
Ensure alignment with demand signals
Monitor supplier performance
Monitor delivery schedules
Assist in supplier communications
Support material planning for production builds
Support material planning for NPI builds
Support material planning for prototype builds
Support material planning for low-volume programs
Ensure timely material availability
Maintain ERP system data
Update ERP system data
Act on planned orders
Support continuous improvement of procurement processes
Support continuous improvement of planning processes
Identify long-lead items
