Full Job Description

Position Summary The Buyer, Investments will work as part of an integrated media investment team. The role involves substantial interaction and collaboration with client account leads as well as team members in the finance and client groups that are part of Media Experts and IPG Mediabrands. This position requires you to support the team with the maintenance and preparation of monthly budget forecasting, customer audits and analyses, as well as ensuring agency-wide targets and commitments are met. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting reports. Assist in investigating, explaining, and resolving variances where applicable (current vs. forecast, current vs. prior years, quarter vs. quarter, etc…). Coordinate with the planning/buying teams with regards to forecasts, rates and plans to ensure annual targets and commitments are met. Proactively develop knowledge of the media landscape. Attend media seminars and vendor presentations as required. Take initiative to streamline and improve upon existing processes, providing tangible solutions for on-going and future challenges. Assist in the preparation of client billing estimates and reconciliations. Assist in solving and clearing billing discrepancies and queries. Develop proficiency with media-related tools and research systems.
