If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. ## Job Summary _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a** _Buyer Direct_** located in **_Guadalajara, North Campus_**. _ _Reporting to the Director, Materials, Direct Buyer role involves_ _being responsible for_ _coordinates activities involved with procuring direct materials, components and equipment._ **What a typical day looks like:** * _Mainteining relations with the suppliers._ * _Placing orders for necessary raw materials and purchased parts according to the requirements of the production._ * _Receiving and handling the confirmations._ * _Checking the purchase orders and modifying them according to the changes in the production plan with the help of the Shortage List and the Open Purchase Order List._ * _Tracking shipments, urging them if needed._ * _Regular, weekly check of the stocks, avoiding overstock._ * _Minimizing the risk of obsolescence with the help of the weekly check of the obsolete report._ * _Correspondence with the freight forwarders, warehouses, and in case organizing the transportation._ * _Dealing with claims, settling debit and credit issues._ * _Filing and recording all necessary documents_ * _Checking the inventory of critical materials (personally if needed) according to the Shortage List._ * _Getting in touch with the right warehouse personnel and having the discrepancy modified if there is any inventory discrepancies._ * _Handling purchasing data privacy._ * _Assuring all active components according to production needs, in time, for t
