Full Job Description
Buyer supports strategic sourcing, procurement operations, and supplier selection for field project purchases, helping meet subcontracting and direct-material needs. The role focuses on helping sites implement commodity strategies to improve year-over-year savings and strengthen supplier performance. It covers tender-to-project activities to source third parties with a view to savings, compliance, and efficiency. The Buyer evaluates supplier options, shapes pricing and performance requirements, and identifies the most effective supply chain model to obtain goods and services at favorable prices. It also seeks new sources and potential products/technologies, and maintains professional, ethical supplier relationships in line with company policies. **What you will do** * Drive procurement strategies to achieve best-in-class delivery, quality, cost, and compliance aligned with business goals. * Lead end-to-end supplier management: identify, evaluate, select, and maintain strategic supplier data. * Conduct Spend Analysis and provide clear reporting; reclassify spend by taxonomy. * Enable RFPs with Category Managers: data extraction, bid analysis, and expedited decision-making. * Negotiate and manage contracts and SOWs for assigned categories. * Produce savings and financial reporting; drive standard pricing and cost reductions. * Lead procurement in product lifecycle; manage all 3rd-party sourcing for year-over-year savings and efficiency. * Manage end-to-end procure-to-pay: supplier approvals, master data, PO, delivery, and invoice matching. * Collaborate across functions to align with global sourcing strategy; uphold policies and compliance. * Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction across regions; support logistics as needed. * Support regional initiatives and ensure category management aligns with stakeholder needs. * Implement category strategies to reduce costs, including rebates and improved savings traceability. * Support supplier base rationalization and
