In this role, you will manage purchasing activities aligned with forecast and budget targets, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory, strengthening supplier partnerships, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. **Principal Responsibilities** * Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence * Execute purchasing activities based on MRP recommendations, forecasts, and budget parameters * Create and release purchase orders for direct and indirect materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance * Analyze demand trends and establish inventory parameters (min/max, EOQ, reorder points) * Implement and improve replenishment strategies (e.g., Kanban, VMI, automation initiatives) * Monitor supplier performance, manage relationships, and support sourcing initiatives * Identify and drive cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies * Collaborate cross-functionally (Operations, Scheduling, Quality, Engineering, Sales, Planning, Sourcing) to align supply chain activities * Track and report on KPIs, investigating and explaining variances * Maintain accurate master data in ERP systems (e.
